Sydney Stage Combat School is the leading Theatrical Fight Choreography and Stage Combat training company in Australia.
We are dedicated to the development and performance of Stage Combat Australia wide. Stage Combat Is an exciting new performance art that focuses on the study and practice of Safe, Effective Illusions of violence, whether it be unarmed or with a variety of weapons, all for the stage and screen.
Past, present or future the SSCS specialises in all forms of personal combat, from Period European and Asian fighting styles to modern realistic fighting, slapstick, dramatic or the fantastic.

As of July 1st, 2012 there will be a couple of changes to fees for 'SSCS Casual Classes'.
In order to receive the 20% ($5) discount for SSCS Casual Classes after July 1st 2012 you will need to be a financial member of The Sydney Stage Combat School. (Our two hour Casual Classes are still the least expensive performance training classes you can get in Sydney). On top of that both members and non-members are eligible for $5 off the second night of training in the same week. i.e. train both Tuesday and Wednesday nights and get $5 off Wednesday.
SSCS Membership costs $45/yr and includes a host of other benefits which are listed below:

As SSCS Membership is due in Januaray to coincide with the annual 'SSCS Welcome Back Bash & BBQ', I am making a special one time offer: Join the SSCS before July 1st, 2012 and pay only $20 for the rest of this year's membership (membership fee as of Jan 2013 will be $45 for the full year).
If you take up SSCS Membership and train even once a month for the whole year you will be saving a total of $60, that's $15 more than your membership fees, so all in all it's a pretty good deal.

It's just a day or two over a month until our next 'Basic Stage Combat Certification Workshop' begins. There are still a few spaces left and we have decided to extend our 'Early Bird Discount' offer for one more week. So contact me before May 7th and you will pay only $525.00.
This workshop is an amazing way to push your personal boundaries in a safe and supportive environment.

Dear Friends, Warriors and Combatants,
It is with much regret and sadness that I must announce our 'SSCS Tuesday Night Casual Classes' will be coming to an end on May 30th 2012. Unfortunately 'Queen Street Studios' Fraser Building Project lease comes to an end around that time and the building is scheduled for demolition. We will be continuing with our Wednesday Night classes so we hope to see those of you that used to frequent Tuesday night transition to Wed's as soon as your schedules allow.
I wish to personally thank each and every person that has ever trained with us on a Tuesday night. We have very much enjoyed the the atmosphere of Studio 14 and had some great classes there.
I will be endeavouring to find a new location for Tuesday night and if any of you know of a space that might be suitable please let me know and I'll check it out.
There is going to be one last class at the Studio 14 on Tuesday the 6th of June 2012. This class is a special request 'Showing' on behalf of QSS and is therefore FREE to all. So I urge you, whether you train on Tues with us every week or haven't been for months, please come along and help us see out this great venue with a 'BING, BANG, BASH and a CLANG!!!'
