The Sydney Stage Combat School specialises in re-creating and re-enacting period detailed and historically accurate combat scenes. Every fighting style in history from the Greeks and the Romans, to 18th Century Smallsword, to Modern Special Forces Close Quarters tactics. These are presented in such a way so as to highlight the subtle, or dramatic, differences in personal combat from various periods of history.

All of our fighting styles are derived from actual historic texts to provide accurate detail in the correct use of the weapons and body movements of that time. We then take that information and give it a complete Stage Combat overhaul to create techniques, and illusions, that represent the actual style of combat from each period but in a totally safe manner, and a style that is appropriate to the specific intricacies of the stage and screen.
