FAQ’s

IThe SSCS has several highly experienced and certified Fight Directors available for Professional Fight Choreography and Action Coordination for Theatre and Film productions. All of our Fight Directors are qualified in all aspects of Stage Combat including unarmed and weapon work, acting, teaching and directing. All of our Fight Directors and Instructors also hold a St. John’s Senior First Aid Certificate and Public Liability Insurance.

The SSCS can assist productions in a variety of ways from choreographing the violence and action in a scene to providing advice on period etiquette or weapon choice. Any form of risky movement from slipping, falling, grabbing, carrying, fighting, domestic violence, swordfights and battles deserve proper attention by a professional Fight Director to ensure the safety of all involved. SSCS Fight Directors are specialists in spatial and kinetic awareness and physical performance and can give your production that stark realism that you are looking for without putting your cast, crew or audience at any risk. Try a Fight Director, the life you save may be your own.
