SSCS STAGE COMBAT SERVICES

The Sydney Stage Combat School is dedicated to the study, practice, development, and in particular, the performance of Stage Combat and Physical Theatre. To that end the SSCS focuses on two main avenues of theatrical education; the 'Stage’, which focuses on various pure acting techniques, and the ‘Combat’, whose focus is the teaching of safe, effective illusions of historically accurate combat and theatrical violence for the stage and screen.

The Sydney Stage Combat School specialises in all forms and styles of theatrical violence and performance combat, be it Historical, Modern or Futuristic. We also serve as movement and safety consultation for lifts, falls, rolls and set and props manipulation. Our professional Stage Combat Team are highly trained in every aspect of physical movement, violent illusions and confrontational performance.
