WIRE AND MOTION-CAPTURE WORK

The Sydney Stage Combat School’s Demo Squad is made up of a wide variety of talented people, all possessing different skills and attributes. Members are skilled in a number of movement and fighting styles including Chinese and Japanese Martial Arts and period European combat with the Rapier and Dagger, Longsword and Smallsword to name just a few. Some of our team have been specifically trained in, and performed, Wirework both on stage and in feature films and we have extensive experience with Blue/Green-screen shooting after our work on such productions as ‘Star Wars Episodes II and III’, ‘Wanted’ and ‘Spartacus’.

The Sydney Stage Combat School also works with members of the Australian Stunt Association that were responsible for wire and stunts training and performing in the ‘Matrix’ films and ‘Mission Impossible II’.

Combined with our knowledge of theatre and combat, we can accommodate any request for movement or action, for any purpose or medium.
